Expertise:

This charming painting depicts a private dining salon with a small table set with champagne and fruit. He exhibited at the Paris Salon beginning in 1848; in 1852 he won a third class medal; in 1861 a second class medal; and in 1878 (Exposition Universelle) an additional third class medal.
